A Village Near The Woods – Euro Design – Villebois is an entire community designed by Costa Pacific Communities (designer of Orenco Station in Hillsboro), and started in late 2004. Construction is estimated at seven to ten years. It is made up of three neighborhoods surrounding the village center. Offering a variety of architectural styles and great attention to detail, homes emulate the charm of European villages and pre-WWII Northwest neighborhoods.
Villebois was named the 2010 Community of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Awards. The winner of the prestigious Community of the Year Award is selected from new communities across the country.
Villebois and previously Orenco Station in Hillsboro, Oregon — both developed by Costa Pacific Homes — are the only communities in the Pacific Northwest to receive this top honor. Consistent with an open environment design, the village will include a 30-acre greenway preserving the old oak trees and connecting the 19-mile path that will link Wilsonville, Tualatin, and Sherwood. Other parks and community areas will include a pool and clubhouse, and mixed-use parks for skating, tennis, and basketball. For those that want to see Oregon up close and not drive an hour- spend the day at Champoeg State Park, located south of Wilsonville. The ten miles of paved biking trails wind through old-growth hardwood forests, while the hiking-only trail curves along the scenic banks of the Willamette River, as well as through the shady forests. Total Oregon splendor!
